Great shop, has a lot to offer and I'm really happy there! Above all, you get freshly cooked food and that feels a bit like being on vacation when you are there.

Relatively good choice for items from all over asia but quite overpriced. For Japanese/Korean items better check other stores nearby.

Whatever you need: You can get it here! Tains has both the Rewe / Edeka basic range, so that you can get all everyday things, as well as a really great selection of various Asian products. Whether Indian, Japanese, Vietnamese, Chinese - you can find everything here! The vegetables are always super fresh, look appealing and are super cheap. A special highlight are the "To Go" snacks, fresh, tasty and filling. Whether fried noodles, onigiri or sushi. Under normal circumstances there is even an opportunity to reheat the food you have bought. I really enjoy shopping here!

Super nice shop. The range is enormous and there is something for every taste. There are just as many German and Western products among Asian products. I really like this supermarket, the staff are friendly, it is very well stocked and there is something for everyone. Unfortunately, you can never buy black tapioca, there are always only the colored ones, maybe you should order more of the black tapioca than the colored ones, because there are always more than enough.

What can I say? Moved to this area of Dusseldorf at the beginning of 2020. Found this place and go there all the time. Staff 100% polite and super friendly and great selection of food. One of the nicest supermarkets I've been to in whole of Germany. Thanks x

Much more Asian than a Rewe. You only get a few selected Rewe items and vegetables. Otherwise great!

Fresh and a lot of choice! There is also fresh Asian food here (onigiri, sushi and small rice and noodle dishes). Also very friendly! We recommend.

Got everything I was looking for, also has many rewe products. Nice, helpful staff helped me with many products because I didn't know the Asian name. Super Service

There aren't many Japanese items, but it's also an ordinary supermarket, so it's convenient to open until around 10 pm. Everyone at the cash register feels good.

Great for quick shopping near the main station. In the winter time, they have Oden at their ready-made counter, which makes for a great snack, when it's cold.

Great varieties of Asian groceries. Lots of stuff from Taiwan. Price is on the high side.

Large selection. Both Asian and German products are sold here. Sometimes there are refreshing changes in the range, which is why it is worth checking out more often. I'm there every time I go to Düsseldorf.

Clean store with nice ambience and huge variety.

The combination of Edeka and Asian market is really great! Very good and varied selection of Asian foods and special things that not every 0815 Asian market has. Also fresh to-go dishes (sushi etc.). Even nice china. I'll be back next time in Düsseldorf :)

18-08-2020: DAMN, just found this place out. I just want to buy everything! What a great supermarket, sooooo many products to choose from, friendly staff, and wide isles. Finally some competition against the two older established ones down the street.

There's everything to do with Asian cuisine here. From groceries to cutlery. The take away snacks are delicious, especially the dumplings. Also suitable for regular shopping.

Visited by happenstance, just browsing - ended up buying a huge bag of Asian groceries. Really good selection, home made kimchi, lots of stuff I recognized from my time in Korea and China. Nice and helpful staff, too

Well-run Nahkauf supermarket with some Asian products in its range. In addition to Asian products, there are also the usual products that you can find in every supermarket. So it's a good mix. There are customer toilets in the basement and all levels are also accessible via a customer elevator. The elevator is unfortunately a cheap prefabricated elevator, but it works. All major debit and credit cards are accepted, starting from 1 cent. The location is very good (right in the Japan quarter). The staff is very friendly and helpful. Negative point: - No handicapped accessible toilet available

During this pandemic period it’s really worried and difficult for us who are with children to go out far in town to do Asian grocery. I was told by a friend who used to stayed in Dusseldorf that Tains had online delivery service and I was so excited to do my grocery. I would like to say even without a proper Ecom web page the staff are super helpful and multilingual as well to help me shop via wechat , phone call and email . Delivery cost are pretty reasonable too. All in all , I am very thankful for your customer service and hope you will have a Online shopping page soon !

I was just in and wanted to get some rice. All of the sudden one of the employees approached me and asked to see inside my bag. I complied immediately and asked if he could help me and he answered he would help me to leave and that I wasn't welcome to buy there... I asked for a reason and he told me I once stole beer from them and showed me a picture of someone that didn't even looked like me... I tried to tell them that wasn't me but they just ignored me and treated me like a thief and accompanied me to the door and repeated to tell me not to come back... as if I would even consider go in there a spend my money there again. There is nothing I could do to make them understand that wasn't me, I guess all white people look the same, right? I'd love an apology but I guess I'll never get one. I'm so embarrassed and frustrated... They have a lot of stuff and reasonable prices, I would recommend them, but be aware if you are a white Male with beard with some white hair in it, they may accuse you of theft... Edit: I got in touch with the store to asked for an apology. They answered that "if" it was a misunderstanding they apologise. "If" being the key word for me... they also continue to justify their employees and that they are trained to do things the way the did to me. Also explaining that they have a lot of thefts in that location and that their employees have been attacked. I'm very sorry to hear that and I wish it would stop immediately, but that is no excuse to treat people the way they treated me. I'm still awaiting a formal apology without "ifs"
